| - Stopped in today and used my Living Social coupon. Well worth it. Ordered the rib tips with cole slaw and fries. My daughter had the fried chicken with mac and cheese. The place is nothing to look at. Basically a counter, cash and a closed kitchen. I understand they deliver and mostly do take out tho. We out in, at the counter with 4 stools. The rib tips were dry and hard, but the fries were the best I've had in Phoenix. They are fried golden brown, but are not crispy. This is a typical patate frites in Montreal and Belgium, and the only way I happen to like them. Might not be for everyone tho. The cole slaw was very creamy and delicious. The fried chicken was fresh, hot and tasty. Very similar to Lo-Lo's and way cheaper. The mac and cheese was very peppery and not child friendly. The barbecue sauce is similar to KC Masterpiece. The sweet, dark, rich kind, not vinegary. The people were very nice. Admittedly, when I saw the place, I was skeptical about ordering fish. I might brave it tho next time, and there will be a next time. Worth another visit for sure, especially for the fries. 1 star off for dried ribs and 1 star off for looks.
