| - I originally went to this vet with two cats. Both times I took the cats there, a doctor comes in for two seconds just to grab the animals and shuffle them into the back room where I'm sure the vet just hands off the animal to a tech. You sit and wait, and finally a vet tech will return with your beloved animals and can't answer any questions, where they present you with an outrageous bill.
I recently got a puppy and took him there just for a routine check-up and to ask questions and talk to a vet. Big mistake. The vet came in, wouldn't let me ask questions, and took my pup into the back room again. A vet tech returns, without my dog, with a huge bill that the vet tech couldn't explain. I demanded to talk to the vet. The vet reluctantly returned and did finally answer some of my questions, but I was made to feel that I was taking up too much of their time. After waiting another 30 minutes, a different vet tech returns with some medicine. I asked what the medicine was for as my dog was healthy and I just wanted a check-up, the vet tech again couldn't answer my questions.
I didn't know what vet offices should be like until I went with my friend to his vet. Very different experience and now I know what a REAL vet's office is like. Needless to say, I am changing vets immediately and driving 15 miles out of the way even though this one is right around the corner. If you care about your animals and want them to have the best treatment, DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!!!
