I got to meet Ned! He's 73 and still working behind the counter. I also got to hear all about the history of his store.... and how they've been around in Mesa since the 70's (although not in the current location that whole time).
The sandwiches are sandwiches... about what you would expect from any sub place-- a nice selection of options, white or wheat bread, and quickly made. But what sets this apart in my mind is the people (person) behind it and the history. I always love supporting a truly local business.
