  • I really hate giving 1-star reviews. But my experience (or lack-of) with American Paintball Coliseum deserves it, wholeheartedly. One one of my good friends spent a few weeks going back n forth with the manager to plan a group weekend outing to play laser tag, in total there was going to be 25. My friend kept telling us how much fun it was going to be, because of all the information passed onto him from the manager. We were told to arrive a little before 3:30 for our game time to start. Totally did not happen one bit. I expected a little wait early on because they had only 2 working iPads and about 30 people trying to use them to sign the e-waivers. So we get everyone in our group finally signed in, then we are shown to the general waiting area. Hard to tell which people were staff because there were so few employees and they had on protective gear just like the paintballers. So after maybe 15 min of just waiting around, they finally call us up the counter to distribute laser tag guns and select our names. After that, we waited around more because not all of the guns were working up to standards. Finally after 45 minutes of waiting did one of the employees gather us up and hustle us into the arena. But with no instructions on the game, the guns (like where to shoot)... so basically leading chickens around with their heads cut off. Except for one friend, because they did not have enough guns for our group. So she left disheartened. At this point, one guy apologized and explained a few key points and started the game. But then my gun stopped working a minute into it. So I tried to find my way out, went to the counter and gave them my gun... shortly followed by a few other friends whose guns stopped working like mine. At this point I'm about at my tipping point to ask for my $$ back and leave but I held my tongue. When they couldn't quickly fix the guns (not enough batteries), I just was done, alongside pretty much everyone else. Luckily though once the manager returned he apologized profusely and gave us our $$ back. It just really sucks that had they even been the least bit prepared with fully working laser guns and knowledgeable employees, not everyone in our group would've been able to play, period.
