| - When relocating from Arcadia to Scottsdale last year, the Green Belt was one of the only saving graces for me. It is a truly wonderful feature here that you don't find in most other parts of town and maintained with impeccable care to boot. It stretches through Scottsdale for miles and miles, lending well to dog walks, bike rides, leisurely jogs, picnics, you get the idea. Now that we live about a quarter mile from the paved pathway, the pups and I walk here just about every day and I couldn't be more grateful for the fresh air and greenery!
I take all of my visitors who believe Phoenix is a brown, flat desert on a jaunt through the park and will even consider setting up a bicycle rental next time so we can head to a few restaurants accessible from the pathway (i.e. The Vig McCormick Ranch, Pig & Pickle, Carlsbad Taverns, etc). This almost makes Scottsdale feel like a pedestrian commuter city :)
