  • OMG! I can't believe I forgot to write this review. Novel Ice Cream has completely changed the dessert game. Thanks to the collab that Yelp did with Buzzfeed last month, I stumbled across this hot new business. I came in with two of my closest friends, and let's just say we were NOT disappointed. We waited quite awhile before it was our turn to order. Since their location is quite small, we had to wait outside. Though we weren't mad in the slightest! I mean what do you expect, it is THE best ice cream sandwich in the state of Arizona - the hype is real, people! The business owner felt bad for our long wait time, and graciously thanked us for our patience. He did everything right. He gave us suggestions, he was patient, kind, and gave us our fair turn in line. I truly wish this man the best of success! I ended up ordering the toasted almond ice cream smashed between two waffle pieces. This wouldn't typically be my go-to choice but.... WOW! It was AMAZING in every way. My two friends were completely satisfied with what they ordered, as well! I'm not a doughnut person at all, but after trying theirs my opinion changed. I hope I've talked this place up enough for you to give it a try. Believe me when I say it was well worth every calorie, and one of the most satisfying desserts I've ever had. Thank you, Novel. I will be back again, and again, and again!
