Very disappointed. We come here at least once a month for about two years. It has been going down in quality for the price.
The sushi used to be decent quality for a buffet and we always looked forward to a little sushi snack to start our meal. We have just plain stopped getting it. A waste.
Then all of the single serving pastas and such are dried out from sitting too long. My chicken wings were pink on the inside. The one guy was overwhelmed at the eggs Benedict and he didn't have any out at all. He was filling the French toast and pancakes with premade refills from the back and said it would be 3-4 minutes for the eggs Benedict. I just leave and eat my first servings and go back and he still has not started any. By then, the French toast is gone again and he is again just refilling with not fresh refills from the back. Meaning he pulls the Saran Wrap off the top from the back while we watch. Nothing is fresh anymore. I've also seen them just pull the Saran Wrap off the sushi now. All this is fine for the 7.99 buffets, but at $28 for lunch and $48 for dinner, quality is expected.
Poor aloof service from waiters more concerned with bussing their table for new customers than waiting on the ones they have. They aren't waiters, they are busboys.
They have also taken the chocolate strawberries from the dessert table. Everything here is now skimped and cheapened and they know they are packing in the people from their reputation and now they can glide by on that.
The steak is still always good and served a nice medium rare. That chicken mushroom potato stew is good over the mashed. And the tres de leche and gelatos are good. But before there were a dozen fun and inspired dishes and now there are 2-3 things that are good, but that is not what a high end buffet is supposed to be. Very disappointed the last 3-4 times. We looked forward to coming here and I even started recommending to people. My recommendation is now rescinded. They are dialing it in and cutting staff and cutting corners.
