| - I love Jaleo!
What a whimsical celebration of flavors! There are too many to name all but in my experience there are some stand alone superstars.
1. Pan Con Tomate, a simple dish that has unbelievable flavor! I got mine with anchovies.
2. Jamon Iberico Bellota, the legendary pig of Spain at its best. I love cured meats and the quality of this product is amazing.
3. Huevo Frito con Caviar, fried organic cage free egg with caramelized onions and caviar. The toasted rustic bread puts it over the top!
4. Endivias. Promoted as a staff favorite and I get it! It is the perfect tapa! Sweet, salty, soft, crunchy. I had it as a palate cleanser, but it could have been served at anytime and still would have been great!
5. Jamon Croquettas. Nuff said!!!!
6. Gambas, a simple sautéed shrimp dish. But hey, I believe that simple done well is a testament to greatness!
7. Braised veal cheeks, OMG! My server told me that they feel bad for anyone who doesn't try this. I'll agree with that! So tender that you can cut them with a spoon. Also the Morels and olive oil potato purée don't hurt either.
8. Secreto Iberico, the secret is out! This is the best cut of meat in Vegas! Pork steak that is tender like filet. It's like I went to bacon heaven!
Food great! Service, on point and friendly. Jose's gin and tonic is just wow! Plus a great selection of Spanish wines that don't hit your pocket like other places on the strip! I will definitely go back and let my friends know!
