  • I was in desperate search of a cake a few weeks ago. It was my bf's birthday and what can I say? He loves cake. I called around and being that it was such short notice I was having no luck. Called the commercial grocery story. Come to find out they were out of color spray. I wanted them to spray his cake to make it look colorful. Then I was told they were out of chocolate icing. Great. No thanks. What's a cake without chocolate? Got on yelp and found this place. All they had that day were a German Chocolate cake and Strawberry Cream cake. I got the chocolate one of course. Told them it was for a birthday and asked them to decorate it a little. WOW! They did such an awesome job making it look pretty. They even put little flowers all over it. It was definitely a good-looking cake. Later that night, we were in heaven. It was wonderful. The cake itself looked so rich and sweet but in my mouth, it wasn't an overwhelming sweetness. It was perfect! The chocolate melted in my mouth, the cake was moist and delicious, best German chocolate cake I've ever had!! Since then, I've been back once to try the strawberry creme cupcakes. Superb!
