  • All the contemporary art forms you can handle in one museum. I pride myself on being able to write a decently witty review for just about anything but for some reason the Mint Museum was so extraordinary mind boggling I can't quite find the words to describe my experience. Therefore I'll keep it short & sweet...there's so much to capture inside of this amazing structure. There is a small fee for adults and a discounted price for children (who will really enjoy a tour by the way). Actually, I highly recommend taking the kiddos, as they will be pretty amused with the art forms on display. Afterward take them downstairs to the Mint Shop to purchase cool souvenirs like puzzles, jewelry and lunch boxes. Definitely worth a trip if you're in the Charlotte area. ~Christy
