I saw the traveling exhibit in Phoenix about 5 years ago, and there were some differences with this exhibit (some good, some not so good).
Pro: Good location in Luxor
discounted tickets
open long hours
optional audio tour for $6
multiple angles to read many exhibits
Cons: lacks the grandure of the larger exhibits we saw in the traveling one (ex: man on horse)
seemed smaller than traveling venue
labels hard to read (clear label with black lettering attached to body parts)
medical terminology over my head
regular adult price $31
Traveling exhibit explains how bodies get donated
99% of bodies on exhibit are male, traveling one included many women
I don't recommend this one for kids. It is surreal to see human bodies open for display like this, not to mention the sexual organs are on display as well. It is a MUST for anyone interested in entering the medical field! it is amazing to see how the human body looks on the inside.
My favorite part of both the traveling exhibit and this one is the babies. It is facinating to me to see the development of the baby in the womb. It was sad knowing these tiny things never developed, but such a learning experience.
