| - So, maybe after the upgrades are finished, the rooms will be nicer, but you'll sill have the constant flow of families in town for basketball tourneys, cheerleading competitions, church conferences, etc. For the two nights we were here on a weekend, we didn't get the opportunity to use the pool or hot tub because of the three times we tried, the areas were completely over run with kids. God speed to the people in your party who have to sleep in the pull out bed in the front room. They will be up all night listening to noisy patrons running up and down the hallways, knocking on doors, and the never ending "housekeeping!" shouts from staffers. We did sleep quite well in the back room on our king sized bed, so no complaints there. But, if we had the same level of noise back there as we experienced in the front room, we would have had to change hotels all together. The 5:30 manager's reception is a nice touch - just be prepared to stand in a very very long line for your drinks. The reception is every night, so that's a plus. Being a big breakfast person, the complimentary breakfast every morning had me very excited until I actually tried it - bland, boring, and blah. Don't sleep in if you don't want to wait in line for your pancakes. The service staff had a hard time keeping up on refilling the food pans, so I did quite a bit of searching for any items that were still available. I recommend dining in the restaurant portion - it's quieter in there. I didn't feel the hotel was dirty like some other reviews mention, but it did feel outdated. Maybe they can update their menu when they update the hotel rooms.
