This was my first time here so I'll start with the good. Good ambiance the restaurant is gorgeous. Service was good not to overbearing but attentive. For the food I had a shrimp cocktail which came with 5 decent sized shrimp. They were great. Husband had the lobster tacos appetizer and he said they were the best thing ever! He loved them.
We both had the filet. For $59 you would expect it to be perfectly cooked and look like a great cut of meat. Well that was not the case. My filet looked like a hacked up piece of meat on a plate. For a steak house you expect it to look edible. I was a little weary too because I ordered medium and it came out more rare to medium rare. That being said the flavor was good. Needed more seasoning but I ate most of it. Not overly impressed for a Michael Mina restaurant
Sides were great. I'd skip the fried sweet potatoes. While they are shoe string they had almost a powdery taste but the spicy fried rice, mushrooms and Mac and cheese were all excellent sides the four of us at them all minus the sweet potatoes.
The s'mores for dessert was insane! Not to sweet but just right. The tapioca had a great presentation with fresh fruit that added that extra touch. Really good.
I won't say I won't be back but with hundreds of other restaurants in Vegas...this may be a one time and try something else place but I wouldn't be upset if someone suggested going.
