| - Been talking about sushi with the peeps at work for awhile now, and today was the perfect day to get some AYCE. So we all headed down to Sushi Kaya for some of their lunch time love. Having been here a few times previously I was eager for the rolls to start flowing.
As usually we got there right at opening to avoid the rush and crowds that typically occur here once the sushi gets going. Our party made our way through the entrance and were seated immediately. Luck be told, this is the same table I have sat at every time dining at this location. Maybe I can get a curtesy name plate hahahahahah. The place was very clean as usual, the staff was friendly as always, and right on top of everything. The food and drinks were out promptly, and are party of nine did not have to wait long for anything. Nicely done staff.
For the AYCE I went with some edeme, cucumber salad, four rolls, (California, Caterpillar, Lasagna and a Who's Your Daddy) and finished it off with some Mango Mochi. All the rolls were tasty, but it did not seem the ingredients were as fresh as normal; which was the only negative for me this time around.
Love the ambiance, staff, and price. As far as AYCE sushi places this is still the best I have had. Four out of five stars as I am sure this subtle lack of freshness was just a random thing. Will definitely be back when the sushi craving comes knocking again.
