| - Banyan Tree is the place to go if you are looking for a gift. I had recently bought Mother's Day gifts (earrings) here that boths moms really liked. I love the Mod peices, quirky accessories, and diversity of what is available. However, I have bought many peices of clothing here and they fall apart. I bought a pair of sandals the zipper broke in the back, not even a few months later. The blouses were thinning and eventually made little worn holes within a few months. A purse that lost gems that were placed on the front... fell off a week later. I don't know many women who sit there purses down flat on the front. The idea of wearing them off is not really possible in that amount of time. Getting your money's worth in clothes at BT is a far fetch. I love the designs. I am all for supporting local artists, as I am an artist as well, but can't spend my money here on what I really want. Well, that limits a buyer like myself. If I walked in to this place and saw a $400.00 coat I like, I'll buy it. However, has to be made well, not faux leather. .
The snobbiness of the staff is like that of Hollywoood or NYC. I don't get it..If you want to make an impression on your customers than add what seems obsolete everywhere is" customer service" to the store, and lower your prices to what the clothes are actually worth.
