  • I love ice cream. Soon after this location opened I went in against the better judgment of my husband who thought it was over-priced. I ordered a cup with one mixin. The man who served me was either an owner or supervisor and he was very nice. He weighed the ice cream before putting it on the slab. He mixed it very well. He gave me a loyalty card which offers a complimentary scoop + mixin after 7 visits. I thoroughly enjoyed the next 6 visits. I take my 4 year old son there often and he loves it too. It's very kid-friendly with an old-fashioned ice cream shop feel to it. I gained weight but I still like this place! The ice cream is very creamy and yes, I can taste the difference freshness makes. I wish they would lower the price a tad, maybe down to $4 instead of $5? Someone walked in when I was there, then raised his eyebrows and walked out once he realized how much it costs.
