  • I celebrated my 30th birthday in Scottsdale, Arizona in February. It was me and group of 14 girls. We wanted a relaxing spa day, and based on various reviews we came across the Well&Being Spa. I was put in contact with their coordinator Brittany, who did a great job of reserving the massages for the Spa'rty. She was very patient, and quick to responded throughout the month it took planning the event (I commend her because it was not easy getting 14 women to confirm the type of spa option they wanted...so their were various changes). The spa is very nice, peaceful, and clean. We were given access to the amenities, and a quick tour of the place. Everyone's spa was on time, and every enjoyed their experience with their therapist. We ate lunch after everyone had completed their spa, and then wrapped up our day up. Just a few things that I would like to point out: 1. I am not sure if they are use to hosting such a large party, but we did not feel completely welcomed. No one from the management team, or even staff came to us to greet us or follow up on how our experience had been. 2. One of my friends found a hair in her lunch box, and when the food was taken away, they returned with half the portion of food she originally started with. Also, no one came to apologize for the hair being in her food, or see how she was managing with the new food presented to her 3. When we were heading out, someone from an office (the manager, or whomever...they provided no introduction) came out to "sssh" us. Yes we were using inside voices, and may have needed to decrease it to a whisper, but his delivery was not appreciated. His delivery should have been better, because we are paying customers, and it is his job to provide good customer service. 4. Some of the patrons seemed a little bothered by our large group, and their facial expressions showed it. I am not sure if it was a noise thing or that we were a large group of minority females. Overall, the massages were excellent, and I would recommend getting a massage here for individuals who enjoy massages. I probably would not go back because I do not like feeling unwelcomed in an establishment where I am a paying customer, and I think everyone deserves great customer service. I will just leave it at that.
