| - Avoid this place like the plague! Went there on a Tuesday afternoon just before Christmas with a friend. It was my first visit to this location. In general, I thought it was a bit run down (torn upholstery & friend's massage chair didn't work). I commented to her that perhaps we should've gone to another Polished location. Apparently, it was a huge mistake to say that aloud. Two weeks later my big toe began hurting. At first I thought 'ingrown toenail'. Shortly thereafter, I made my first trip to doc & went on antibiotics & anti-inflammatory for a cuticle infection (paronychia). Once those ran out, the pain & tenderness returned. Today, second trip to doc, a podiatrist, this time, confirmed that my cuticle had indeed been pushed UNDER the flesh. Hoping another round of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory drugs, soaks & massages will allow the cuticle to re-adhere to the nail within the next 2 weeks. Otherwise, the nail will have to be surgically removed. Although there's no proving this was intentional, I WILL NEVER NEVER EVER GO TO THIS PLACE & CANNOT STRONGLY ENOUGH RECOMMEND THAT YOU DON'T EITHER!
