  • The pan roast and clam chowder were delicious, but not so amazing that I would wait in their line again. It's worth trying once if you're a seafood/chowder lover. We came on a Monday afternoon around 11:30am, and it was already a 45 minute wait with about 10 people in front of us. Oyster Bar is located in the Palace Station Casino off the strip, so you'll have to taxi or Uber to get here. I would recommend trying to come super early or super late at night (they're open 24/7) to avoid the line. They only have about 15-20 seats in a counter style set up. We ended up trying: -Combo Pan Roast (Creamy Tomato Stew Finished w/Brandy, Served w/Rice, w/Shrimp, Crab, Lobster, $23.99, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=KW421aU4osMxIhwFq_8XvQ&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg): This was my favorite dish out of the ones we tried. I liked the flavor of the stew, but it was definitely tasted very rich. I wish I ordered it spicier (we got a 4 out of 10 and it did nothing for me). Overall, this was a solid dish and great for eating with rice. They don't skimp on the seafood at all- recommended! -House Gumbo (Shrimp, Crab, Lobster, $23.99, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=eKWQornep6kekUTddnJR8A&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg): I am not a gumbo fan so didn't like this version. It was decently flavorful, and they also give you a giant bowl. Worth trying if you're into gumbo. -New England Clam Chowder (Bowl, $8.99, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=J2hM2yJEe37f-Lv6bYkK6w&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg): Yum, delicious! The clam chowder was nice and creamy, and full of clams with less potatoes, which is my preference. A must try for any clam chowder lover! -Oysters on the Half Shell ($17.99/Dozen, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Lh4ORXiwOQuK26kDvLgoLA&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg): Yikes, these oysters are GIGANTIC! They were very fresh, but don't have much brine/flavor to them, and there is a lot of meat. I like oysters, but I don't think I could eat more than 5 of these. However, after having these once, I wouldn't order them again. Service was ok, but it's very low maintenance since they take your order from the other side of the bar. The food takes at least 10 minutes to prepare, but you get everything piping hot.
