| - Well when I first took my sewing machine in, I was not impressed at all! I just needed someone to see if I was threading my bobbin the correct way because my machine was jamming. Nobody was around for about the 1st 5 minutes. Then an employee asked if I needed help, I told her what I was needing and she was nice enough to carry my sewing machine in from my car. (I had my infant in her carrier) She then passed me off to another employee, whispering what I needed help with, who passed me off to another employee who then passed me off to another employee because he had to take a phone call. While I was waiting for the 4th employee to help me, the 1st lady was eating a bagel!!!! Finally a gentleman helped me and told me my machine needed a full service which would cost me $80. I didn't want to pay that much when my machine only cost $100. He then told me a labor service would only cost $45 and that would most likely fix my problem. My machine was ready the next day and the employees working when I picked it up were VERY nice and my machine works like a gem. I am 28, I don't have a fancy sewing machine and no I don't belong to a quilter's club, and I felt that because of that, I was not that important of a customer. Yes I will take my machine back in there, but it is only because I don't know of anywhere else to take it if it needs serviced. I am a stay at home mom, but before I had my children I worked in customer service and that is NOT the way to treat any customer, no matter what age or what they are needing.
