  • After reading the Yelp reviews and looking through pictures I decided to give this salon a try. I had been pretty loyal to another place where I used to live on the other side of town in Mountains Edge but their hours (and the long drive) didn't warrant the commute after work on a weekday any longer. Overall I was really impressed with how much attention to detail Nathan showed when he was filling my acrylics. I am a Virgo so paying attention to those tiny details truly means a lot to me. This other very sweet lady (I didn't catch her name) ended up painting the design on my nails since apparently she is the one who did the girls in the picture that I copied. Yes, I'm a copycat... Sometimes anyway...it's a compliment because normally I take something and put my own twist to it but I love how my nails turned out. I also got a pedicure which was nice, not quite the same amazing experience as my acrylic fill with gel, but the experience was above average and clean which is important. One small complaint though...It's been over 4 hours since my pedi and my polish still hasn't dried. I just got out of the shower and was drying my feet and the polish smeared :( I was able to move it back into place - kind of. This usually means the polish that was used is old but I don't blame them, with a huge selection I'm sure it's hard to keep track. The salon was closed when I left so I wasn't able to call or go back but they were all very sweet and understanding (they were really cool with my 5 year old being with me, I never take him with me so I was a little nervous but they even put on the move Home for him!!) so I'm sure they'll take care of it and re-polish and toss the old colors. Still doesn't deter my 5 stars though- small stuff happens!
