  • This place need to be very clear on their website that this place is CURRENTLY BEING RENOVATED! We arrived on 5/17 for the weekend for our annual EDC trip. Park MGM is a remodeled Monte Carlo. We had an easy time finding the lobby, as we parked in the garage just outside the back of the hotel. Check in was easy, and we were up in our room in no time. I highly appreciated being able to do a pre-mobile check in the day before arrival. The hallways to the rooms are creepy af... Super dark, long and eerie. I definitely wasn't walking those halls by myself. Need to get some light in there!! The room was small, like studio apartment size. They should have done a better job of painting cause it didn't look very good. We had an epic view of the T-Mobile Arena - which I was pretty stoked for because the Stanley Cup Playoffs were going on. This room had a ton of power outlets and charging ports, definitely appreciated that! Alright. Here we go. My boyfriend decided to take a shower, and immediately yelled at me to come see the water. The water pressure was absolutely incredible, it was like a pressure washer and there was no way to adjust it. He had to jump out because he was physically in pain from how hard it was hitting him. The air conditioning was a joke - after calling the desk at 2:30am, we found out that it is motion censored and will not just remain on. It was so hot in the room. Did I mention every time it turns on and off it makes a clicking noise? Every. Single. Time. Ah, it's time to wake up to our alarm at 9am... wait.... it's 7am - IS THAT CONSTRUCTION OUTSIDE? The ropes from the scaffolding of the painters was banging on our window, and the continuous beeping of work trucks backing up was insane. Oh, and the jackhammer. Nice. We hopped online, called and booked another hotel, packed up our bags, cleaned up the room, and went straight to the desk to ask to check out. The ONLY real positive I can give this place is their customer service efforts. They obviously know people are irritated about the construction, and I'm going to guess they've read their other Yelp reviews. When we explained at the desk how our experience had been, they quickly and politely issued us a refund for the evening and canceled the rest of our reservation without any further question or issue. We made sure they took note of the shower, because that is dangerous. This place in all honesty should have just been crushed and rebuilt, you can't cover up all of the old/outdated interior, but they sure tried...We will come back to stay here, as we always support MGM while we are in town - but we will definitely wait until this place is completely renovated and disturbance free.
