| - We stopped here for lunch immediately after getting off the plane for our wedding week in Vegas. We had the most WONDERFUL experience with Laura M. as our server! She was incredible and gave us a five star experience that was so good we returned a few days later on Saturday Aug. 29th, hoping to have her as our server, more great food, and share our wedding photos we had talked about.
Unfortunately, this time we were seated outside with a server listed on my receipt as being named Phoenix. That girl sucked. She was one of those servers that just goes through the motions and truly doesn't give a crap about any part of the experience. I ordered a diet coke, hoping to get some caffeine in my veins to wake me up after a day at the pool, and she didn't deliver it until she brought the food. Over half an hour had gone by so I figured she forgot and I was okay with just giving up on it. I was shocked when she did bring it, but it was obvious this was some sort of "do less work" strategy so she didn't want to have to keep refilling it for me, so instead I paid $5 for one little glass of diet coke. Awesome. She never smiled once and completely disappeared when it was time to give us our check, take our credit card, and return it to us. It took so long I was standing there with my purse on my shoulder for a really long time, trying to send her a message that we were more than ready to stop inconveniencing her by being her table. We always tip whichever is greater between $10 flat and 20%, and it broke my heart to not be able to leave her anywhere near that, but she didn't deserve the 15% we did give her.
If you do dine at this restaurant, ask for Laura M.! She is incredible! The food is very good and priced comparable to everywhere else in Vegas.
