  • I can only really speak of this place as a concert venue, because I've never ventured in on a club night. It's a good sized venue with a decent (albeit not amazing) sound system. I've seen a few different acts play here. The first band I saw here (The Killers...) was so bad that I thought the venue must have had something to do with it: "well, they were bad, but they couldn't have been that bad... it must be a bad venue." You know what I mean. We've all had those thoughts of a venue at one point or another. Eventually I went back for some other shows and have found myself consistently pleased by the results, the best being an acoustic show featuring John K Samson, Bryan Webb and Christine Fellows. Considering each of them played songs acoustically, and that the show itself was a blast, leads me to decide that this venue is actually great for these kind of shows. Since then, I've been other shows with full bands, and they've all sounded good, too. This is definitely a place you should give more than one chance. It's not the best, but occasionally it'll provide a gem for you.
