| - I've searched high and low on the web and through Yelp to find a reputable Lash Spa. I've never had fake lashes, and have always wanted to try them. This placed seemed to have great reviews and a great online presence so I booked.
My appointment was two Saturdays ago and I have zero lashes today. I paid $175.00, which included the tip, and expected to rebook soon to maintain the lashes, but I did not anticipate all of them coming off within the first week.
The online booking was nice and easy, so that's a plus. The location was convenient for me, although I couldn't locate the suite in the shopping complex due to poor signage, no big deal. The interior was nice and the chair was cozy. The staff was super friendly and my lash girl was gentle and took the time to explain what she was doing, and asked what I was looking for in my lashes. I showed her a photo, expecting to get somewhat similar results.
I chose the mixed full set lashes. What I received is debatable on the mixture of lashes. I felt like it was a full set, and it was nothing like the photo. Super disappointed. I had an emergency happen while sitting in the chair and didn't take the time to explain she missed the mark with my set, so that's on me. The receptionist handed me a bag of solution to clean my lashes and said I should avoid oils, humidity and maybe shower with goggles on to make the lashes last. I did all of the above. Due to my emergency I travelled out of state and missed the 3-day grace period to have lashes reapplied.
Again, I knew I would lose some lashed, but to lose every single lash within 1-week and pay $175.00 when I could have purchased false lashes for $20.00 is a little difficult to comprehend.
I hate that this was my first experience. It seems either the quality of adhesive they used was cheap or maybe the girl was new. Either way, I'm super disappointed. If anyone can recommend a great lash person, please let me know. Thanks!
