| - There were many little annoyances, and I'd have happily overlooked all of them, except one. I'll just start at that one glaring problem; No pillows.
There were no real pillows in our room. There were little throw pillows. There was one extra pillow in the "closet". Two people; One pillow. Come on.
So we got back to our room a little before midnight, and discovered the mysterious absence of pillows. I thought it was a mistake. I called the front desk and asked if they could bring pillows. I was informed they didn't have any pillows, but that there was an extra pillow in the closet if I needed it. (That extra pillow was the one pillow.) When I asked why they had no pillows, I was told that housekeeping hides them.
I try to sleep with a towel or pillow, and realize quickly that it's not going to work. At this point, I'm a little upset because I paid a lot of money for this room. I call the the front desk back and ask to talk to a manager. The lady at the front desk said she would look for them, again repeating that housekeeping hid them all.
At this point, it's about 12:30. She comes up to the room about 2am with the pillows. Did I mention I was suppose to leave by 5am?
I sent an e-Mail to management. It's been ignored so far.
In addition to all that, there where many little annoyances. All of these could be overlooked, but I'll list them anyway:
I paid for the Suite upgrade, I'd hate to see the standard room. The suite was very small.
I was there for a wedding. I picked this hotel because they had a shuttle service to the venue. They canceled the shuttle with nothing more than an "Oh well." (This is understandable as most of the wedding guests opted to go elsewhere.)
There was a dirty picture drawn on the mirror in the bathroom. It's understandable because you could only see it when the steam from the shower was on the mirror.
