  • I heard about Billy from B & D guitar through a friend. I brought two guitars to B & D. He sat me down in the front of the shop and told me to play. After watching me he said he knew exactly how to setup my guitar. For one of the two guitars he said that it would be a waste for him to do a standard fret dress because my frets were too small and it would not be good for my playing style once the work was done. Further he told me its not worth it for me to do a simple setup, he told me to go do it myself!! can you believe it? This guy is honest enough to to tell me when I would not like what he would do with my guitar. He said he could work with my other guitar though. After a long but well-worth it wait I was able to have him work on that guitar and it came out excellent!!!! I've got lower action, much less buzz, and some new pickups at a great height. Its truly a privilege and pleasure to work with Billy. Go see him and you wont regret it. His prices are fair and competitive, and you wont get the great service and care that he will provide at many other places in Arizona. I will be back to see him before too long with another one of my Axe's.
