I have been in business for a very long time and also have a construction back ground as Quality Control for Custom Homes and Condo's all levels of construction to customer walk through and quotes.
I always make a rule to get 3-5 quotes for all contracted work no matter what it is! This allows you the consumer to achieve truly what the Fair market price is in the market area for the job.
AlI though Jimmy's presentation was nice, good personality, good salesman, " I call it eye wash" but really I believe in all businesses that customer service starts in this case with the quote they give after the dog n pony show!
I was so disappointed, it made me angry kinda. Like I was abused and taken advantage of!
The first quote for painting the exterior of the house and block wall came back very general and did not break down the square foot price. Wrong Thing to do, unless you are trying to take advantage of the consumer educated or not! I then asked questions and got a excuse type reply swaying from the truth about this company "certapro", and that is they are way above market for exactly the same tasks and exactly the same job. Then he discussed about budget, and again a sales tactic used that was a sway from the truth and that is that this company is way to High when it comes to painting.
I was going to possible use them on a national basis with one of my many projects, but I could not even get to the HQ to discuss because all phone numbers lead back to the answering service. I then asked to speak to the regional manager and still have not received a call. Another example of they really only care in my personal opinion/experience about their wallet and not giving the customer fair pricing and good customer service. Why are their prices possible so ridiculously high, because they are a franchisee and have to pay royalties most likely to the franchisor.
This is reality and my experience. There are many 5 star painters in the Las Vegas Valley, seek out and you shell find.
Note: When you receive a quote make sure it is not vague and make sure it is detailed and covers everything your discussed with the sales person. As They Say, Read The Fine Print.

My position is to inform the Las Vegas Valley of your high pricing for your services!
Jimmy, in your comment you did exactly what you did with me and gave me song and dance.
I also compare apples to apples, I do not do verbal quote, and I think it is very unethical to give somebody else's written quotes "to one of their competitors. Another example of not upfront ethical practices by your company.
I will not get into the facts about a cash deal you offered me!
The consumer will always make the choice. Yelp is an awesome platform to help the consumer make the proper choices!
