The bar food is fantastic! I was definitely impressed.
The prices of the food and drinks were quite reasonable (more money for games).
Decent drink selection--more on the dive side, but still with a few locals and craft brews on tap.
Most of the games worked--so we had a great time in the game room.
Oddly, my harshest criticism is the noise level of this place. I attend very loud concerts regularly and also enjoy hanging out in bars with good music. They played a good mix of music, but it was either the layout (where the speakers are placed relative to the bar) or just that someone decided to crank it. You had to YELL to hear anyone if you sat in a booth and the same went for the game room. Oddly, when you approached the bar, the sound was not as loud (perhaps that is why the staff had the music blasting). Don't get me wrong--I love loud music, but this was just a few DB on the side of ouch....which reminded me of all the Scottsdale clubs I avoid like the plague...
If you are going to bar with games that does not have dancing--you want to at least be able to have a conversation without losing your hearing.
If they can find the magic volume number on the stereo I'll bring in a crowd again because the positive items listed at the top of this review. If not, we'll have to find an alternative.
