| - I've been attending classes and workshops at Humble Monkey Yoga since opening day back in Feb. 2011. I am continually amazed how fast the studio has grown in terms of teachers, classes, workshops, students, etc. It's wonderful to see a young business achieve such success in a relatively short amount of time (and in a recession, to boot).
Meghan, the owner, is always on the lookout for new classes, concepts or workshops that would help to round-out her current offerings, please her existing students, and attract new students.
The schedule and class types are always evolving, always a work-in-progress. Many class levels and types are included in the offering, such as: Restorative, Yin, Basics, Flow/Vinyasa, Chair (for those with mobility limitations), Nidra (yogic sleep), Slow Flow, Ashtanga, etc.
If you are looking for a highly-competitive environment where you can show-off, that has lots of books, clothes and trinkets upon which to spend your money, this is not the place for you. Humble Monkey is a Bhakti studio meant for cultivating love, devotion, faith and surrender. Everyone is comfortable and well-taken-care-of here.
Lastly, you CANNOT beat the pricing -- it's the most humbly-affordable of any in the Valley. Meghan set out to establish a studio that was affordable and accessible for everyone who wanted to practice yoga. That's exactly what she has done. Good for that girl! This place is a must-try.
