| - I love the store Michaels and all that it sells. Great products, prices and coupons. I'm a crafter and teacher so this is one of my favorite stores.
Reason for 3 out of 5 stars is the customer service at this location. I came in to get frames on 7/12/17 around 3PM, and 2 out of the 3 people were rude, lazy and not helpful. First the positive, the male at the framing counter was awesome! Very helpful, attentive, took the time to show me different options and made sure I was satisfied. On this particular day I was in a rush so when I first came in, I just wanted to know if all the frames in the front were all that was out. I needed a particular color and didn't see it. The taller Caucasian lady said "You will have to ask the framing section, they would know more about framing than I do." What I would like to hear is, "Let me find out for you." That's great she directed me who to ask, but I just had a question on inventory, and you'd expect if there's a sale, you'd know if you have more in the back. So I go all the way to the back of the store to ask the nice man in framing. Next when I go to the cashier, Pauline, she greets me warmly, but rolls her eyes and shows dissatisfaction when I ask how much they are and if they're apart of the buy one get one free. I was planning on putting it on hold, but wanted to get the correct price before I go out to look for other options. She says she didn't want to look up the price because the only way to do it is if she scans it all in and hits total. (Well isn't that your job?) So I look around, (No one is in line and barely anyone is in the store) and ask, "Do you have time to check for me please?" With displeasure, she checks and they're not apart of the sale. She upsettingly starts scanning the frames again having to remove it from the system and talks to the register because it keeps beeping at her. This is not the type of customer service I would expect from simple requests such as asking if there are more items in stock or the price. This service deterred me from buying anything at this store today.
