  • UPDATE: Messaged them on Facebook to complain in which they read it and never responded. AWESOME customer service. Thanks SO much. Came here to see the butterfly exhibit and botanical garden. I also wanted to see the animal exhibit and the desert tortoise exhibit, but I couldn't do that due to what I'm about to write. We get to Springs Preserve, and the entrance worker directed us and other cars to the back lot by the butterfly exhibit. I'm handicapped, and they still had us park out there. We had to walk all the way to the entrance, which was at an incline and in 80 degree heat. I was basically sick by the time we got to the entrance to buy tickets due to my disability. We got to the ticket counter, and I told the female employee that we weren't very happy due to having handicapped people park all the way in the back. She replied that it was because they were having an event. MIND YOU THAT THE REGULAR PARKING LOT WASN'T EVEN HALF WAY FULL. AND THEY LET ANOTHER CAR IN TO GO PARK IN HANDICAP IN THE REGULAR PARKING LOT WHEN WE WERE ALREADY HALFWAY TO THE ENTRANCE CAUSE THEY ROLLED DOWN THEIR WINDOW AND FLIPPED OUT ON THE ENTRANCE WORKER. This worker didn't even apologize for the inconvenience! I replied that it's not okay to make handicap customers park all the way out there when the entrance and ticket counter are on the opposite side! She ignored me and told us we'd have to immediately go to the butterfly exhibit because the last entrance was at 2:45 PM. I replied that I knew this and that we were upset because they had me walk from the butterfly exhibit to the front only to walk all the way back to the butterfly exhibit. She again ignored me and handed me my tickets, in which I sarcastically thanked her for her customer service. By the time we got to the butterfly exhibit, my mom and I were both angry and not excited. I'm giving two stars because the butterfly exhibit was really cool and the gardens were beautiful. I didn't get to go look at the animals or anything else because I had zero energy to walk all the way back towards the entrance where the animals were located. This is not how you treat your customers. I won't be back.
