  • A great cafe to meet with friends, talk with locals, and enjoy the Atwood neighborhood. No internet on purpose. That's right, you'll have to be alone with your thoughts for fifteen minutes, or interact with other humans. Because of the no internet policy I tend to get more writing for school done here than at other cafes. No surprise why, but I'm grateful to have this option among the hundreds of other "hot spots" within walking distance. Nice talkative baristas, and the fire department occasionally shows up in a big red truck to have a group coffee. Now that's what a real neighborhood cafe looked like if I ever imagined one.
