| - We just ordered some delivery. Souvlaki chicken plate....chicken is good, but doesn't compare to the stuff from back east. Wild rice had a nice lemon flavor but was way mushy and overcooked. Falafel "sticks," while novel, were really dry. Hummus was obviously homemade, but grainy. This is probably from using canned beans instead of cooking dry beans. Also too much black pepper. The tabbouleh was really bad, pale vegetables ( like zero parsley) and mostly larger bulgur grains. I'm used to parsley, tomato mint lemon and olive oil ( occasionally cucumber), this had tomato, green bell pepper and celery, and lacked acidity. I feel bad writing a bad review, but if a pregnant lady doesn't want to finish her food.....
The chicken wasn't bad, so maybe sticking to the sandwiches is a better option.
