My husband and I come to our home in Phoenix only a couple times a year. I wanted to continue with the tabata/HIIT type workouts I am currently doing and thought I would give OTF a try. My first class was free and I purchased a 10-drop in class card immediately after.
I did a total of five classes this week and had Devon, Al and Jennifer as trainers. All did an exceptional job keeping each group motivated and on task. Although a slightly different format than what I'm used to, I still felt I had an equivalent workout to my regular ones. I have always loved TRX and really appreciated how that was incorporated into each session.
Since I'm going home next week, I'll be looking into the OTF franchise that opened in Calgary, AB. I'll also be adding my HRM into my workout and trying to keep within the desired zones for my fitness goals.
While changing my shoes etc, I had the opportunity to listen/observe the front desk/sales area. No overkill or pushy sales for memberships. THAT was very refreshing!
Bottom line - if you've been THINKING about trying out OTF, stop thinking and give it a try. You won't be disappointed and you'll get a good old fashioned butt kicking too.
