  • Copper Star Coffee is not just a run-of-the-mill coffeehouse. It is a quiet and cozy neighborhood centered envirionment that was built on the lot of an newly renovated and converted old gas station. Locally owned, Copper Star is a good place to stop by for your traditional morning cup of joe or your extra particular espresso beverages. Also offering an array of specialty teas and fruit smooties, Copper Star is most notable in my book for their fresh, in house baked goods. I highly reccomend trying one of their frosted cupcakes...scruptious! In a hurry? Call in your order for pick up or use their drive-thru! Free wifi for customer use as well as long couches and lots of natural light, Copper Star is not too big, not too small, and perfect for those who want a mellow, non-pretentious, smoke-free place to drink coffee. One gripe: I do not reccomend their Chai tea lattes-- they seem too sweet for some reason. I do however, love their mochas and their antioxidant smoothies with pomegranates and Acai.
