  • I like Firefly regardless of their 2013 Salmonella outbreak. Yes that was horrible, but it's been 2 years. Plus, this is a brand new restaurant and it's time to get over that. Some friends and I came for dinner one night before seeing a show. We ordered a pitcher of red sangria, which was delicious. It has fresh cut up fruit and brandy, yum yum. It's safe to say I had a nice buzz going on after a couple drinks. Firefly is all tapas, or small plates. These are good for sharing which is why I like going with a group. My favorite thing on the menu is the stuffed dates. They are wrapped in bacon, and stuffed with blue cheese. Fun fact, I don't even like blue cheese, but the combination of these things is AMAZING. Do get these, and thank me later. To be honest, I can't remember too much else because that brandy got ya girl feeling randy, or something like that. LoL. If you haven't done so, give this place a shot, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
