  • Had high hopes for Scarpetta since it is so highly rated on Yelp. We made our reservations many weeks in advance and had a nice window seat with a great view of the Bellagio fountains. That was awesome. Service was overall decent. The bread basket was awesome. I'm not a huge fan of pastries usually but I finished all the bread in the basket. It was that good. Creamy polenta with truffled mushrooms - This was amazing! We ordered 1 portion to share and they preemptively split the order for us. Cool. Truffled burrata with roasted tomatoes and salsa verde sauce - This was their daily special and it was super delicious. This is a must order! Foie gras and duck ravioli - This was way too rich. We ate a couple of mouthful and had to get it to go :( Uni pasta - Again, way too rich. We had a split order and couldnt even finish half the portion! :( I'm not sure why but both the pasta entrees were just too rich for us and that totally killed the experience :( I wish the waiter warned us more in advance :(
