YUM-o! This is a super small spot. Just about 10 or 12 tables. The service is LOVELY and every single item I've tasted has been delicious!
There's a tight strip of parking in front, and a small lot in back (turn west into the alley off of Virginia).
On my first visit, we followed our server's recommendation and indulged with the appetizer sampler and the portions were HUGE. Then, we tacked on two entrees and wound up leaving with leftovers and no room for dessert!
One of the entrees was the arroz chaufa con marisocs - a savory seafood fried rice rich in flavor.
On my most recent visit, I had the lomo saltado. I know it's a traditional Peruvian dish... my GOODNESS: the tender, tasty marinated beef! Served on a bed of french fries with a side of rice? A carb-lover's dream! It's like an asian-inspired poutine.
Picking a favorite is hard!
I also recommend the traditional Pisco Sour cocktail - a frothy, tart but sweet concoction with Peruvian brandy (called pisco) as the base.
(NOTE: most of these dishes contain gluten; the staff is great about checking and will give an honest answer)
