  • Met with our real estate lawyer on Monday to finalize everything for our new home before the keys got released on Friday morning. Turns out our lawyer never sent the documents to the builder until Thursday night, so they didn't arrive by Friday morning. Although I had booked the day off work and planned to start moving early, we literally had to sit around all day waiting for the courier to deliver the documents late Friday afternoon before we could get the keys and move. A big stress that could have been avoided if our lawyer acted quicker.
