Me and my cousin went out exploring new dim sum restaurants we haven't tried in Las Vegas. Since I love the first KJ Kitchen location on Spring Mountain and Jones, we decided to try the second location. So far, I love my other dim sum restaurant than KJ and here are the reasons why.
First of all, we came in on Wednesday, September 13 , 2017 around 10:30 a.m. We were greeted and seated. There wasn't a lot of people in the dining room until 11:30 a.m. Instead of drinking random drinks, we drinked traditional with our dim sum, hot tea.
We ordered:
- Har Gow
- Chicken Feet
- Shu Mai
- Lo Mai Gai (Sticky rice with meat and egg)
- Char Siu Bao (Steamed BBQ Bun)
- Shrimp Rice Noodle Roll
We had to wait about 20 more minutes for more different dim sum food to come out. We also ordered:
- Char Siu Bao (Baked BBQ Bun)
- Coconut Bun
- Egg tart
- Fried Dumpling
- Fried Spinach Dumpling
Some of the foods were ok. The variety was small and not as big. Each dish costs over $2.99 each! The service was alright, I was happy that they served us but not in a happy way. I recommend to go somewhere else to eat dim sum. Other dim sum restaurants probably charge less for each dish and way bigger portion than KJ in the Rio.
