This could easily have been a 5 star review, but the kitchen was backed up this particular night.
We would absolutely return -- the food is simply amazing and the ambience/décor is a fun, chic vibe. Service was excellent, just the restaurant was super busy and the four course menu took nearly 3 hours with some large waits between courses.
They change the menu every 2 weeks which keeps it fresh and exciting. We had an amazing oxtail appetizer followed by the most wonderful coconut milk based squash soup. The duck entrée was superb.
To their credit, they also acknowledged the slow kitchen and offered us free dessert. The chef also made a point to visit all the tables at the end of the evening.
Just 5 months old, Sel is still working out some kinks but is already a really special restaurant.
