Came here for a late lunch on a Sunday; the restaurant was completely empty. We were greeted by a hostess with a sour face who pretended like she didn't see my reservation. Eventually we got seated at the front of the restaurant, and the server explained the dining concept.
We went to the salad bar, which was a bit sad. There were limited choices and the vegetables didn't seem that fresh (we did come at 3:15 on a Sunday, so the food was probably sitting out for a while). It was nothing compared to Zed 451's in Chicago, or even Fogo De Chao's. The best thing from the hot bar were the potatoes au gratin. The soup of the day was very salty.
I tried all of the meats offered during lunch and my favorites were definitely the Picanha and the leg of lamb. Those were the most tender and best seasoned, although all of the meats were on the salty side.
Since it was my mom and brother's birthday, we got to choose two free desserts. We opted for the carrot cake and the chocolate cake. Both came in generous portion sizes and were delicious!
Our service throughout the entire meal was great. They were prompt when it came to bringing out sides to the table/changing our plates/refilling water.
Other than the snotty hostness and the salad bar, this was actually a pretty decent experience. The meats were generally pretty good and the dessert were a great ending to the meal.
