Before coming to the Duce, I had heard some decent compliments about the atmosphere and drinks.
I don't live close by for the night life, but a co-worker and I decided to try it out for lunch.
I am not a teacher, but I would give the food a "C." We decided to split the slider sampler. This proved to be messy and was no fault of the restaurant. It is hard to cut a meatball in the bread... And the short ribs... Even the chicken sausage. Aside from that, the food was just ok.
The tuna was meh, not like mamas! The short ribs were ok. The chicken sausage: ok. Just all of it was ok.
The highlights for the experience was the staff: super friendly and helpful. I like that there are drink stations around that I can help myself to. The building and decorations are really great. I can certainly see why it would be so much fun to hang out and enjoy company here.
Unfortunately, the lunch was just not the best. Not for the price at least. I would try it again, but at night, when I am not hungry.
