| - I saw Body by Kim on Groupon. I thought I would try it because I work out often and still have a little cellulite I would like smoothed out. When I called I was informed this procedure would not make you lose weight but could smooth out any visible cellulite. First off, this place is not easy to find. It is at the bottom of a green apartment complex. The receptionist informed me to call when I was outside so she could come and get me. I showed up 30 minutes early to ensure I found the location. I called roughly 10-15 times and left 2 voicemails until the start of my appointment. I got no response or call back. Considering I live in Gilbert and drove to Scottsdale I waited a little extra time. Approximately 30 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start, I began pulling out of the complex. This is when I got a call from the receptionist. She asked me to stay and apologized stating, "She did not know it was my first time". I still did not understand how this meant not answering the business phone but I stayed. I attended a 2 sessions before I got the email from Groupon asking if I would refer this company. I said I would not. I listed my initial wait time as well as a lack of results I noticed on my legs. However, I had 2 more sessions to complete. The following day I had my third appointment. I went in with my boyfriend and the receptionist quickly announced, "Kim wants me. I will be back". When she returned she began talking about my review with the woman doing my procedure in front of me as if it were not me. "Who did we make wait"? "I have no idea, but I'll just be here making people unhappy". They spoke about my review for about 20 minutes (the entire time of my procedure). The owner who clearly knew I had a 3pm appointment could have come down and spoke to me but did not. It took me a couple days and some long conversations with my boyfriend to determine they had planned this entire thing. I have never been to a business that is so unprofessional. In addition, this treatment consists of slathering your body in cold ultrasound gel, putting 2 machines on your body that roll over your skin, and supposedly that makes your fat cells burst open releasing toxins and/or killing cellulite. Coincidently, the business sells several weight loss treatments and encourages you to work out during your weekly procedures. I believe this is why some people see weight loss. Lastly, if you are insecure or concerned about your body be prepared to expose yourself in front of at least two people. The woman doing your procedure and at least one client will be in the room at the same time. It reminded me of a high end women's locker room. If you are thinking about going to Body by Kim save your money and go to the gym!
