| - I'll summarize my review in case you don't have the time to be entertained by a wild ride of a story regarding this place fucking up a simple oil change:
*Took 2013 Nissan Versa here because did not have access to tools nor a locale to work on vehicle myself.
*Coupon made me pull the trigger and take it in for service (what's the worst that can happen?!"
*Stupid employee overfills small engine with over a quart of oil!
*Huge (Donal Trump voice) mess on our driveway due to overfill the next day
*Even stupider manager wants me to take car back so they can fix the issue; no thanks (fool me once, bitch).
*Took vehicle to Nissan mechanic to document possible damages.
*Emailed manager, per his request, a list of expenses incurred due to botched "oil change"
*Almost 2 months after call after call to corporate and email after email to the store went by before I got refunded for expenses
*Coward manager sent his employee to hand me my money instead of facing me like a man and apologizing for wasting my time.
The End.
Would not trust this place with a pet rock; they might manage to kill it. I took my car in for a routine oil change. First of all you must understand that a mechanically inclined person such as myself flinches at the thought of someone else working on your vehicle, specially if it's something as simple as an oil change. We had just moved from out of town, where I had access to a shop and tools on base so I could do the oil change myself, which I have been doing so since we drove this car off the lot; too easy. I decided to roll the dice and have this place change the oil in our 2013 Nissan Versa since it was already overdue for one and I had a coupon that enticed me to pull the trigger. "What's the worst that can happen?!" I told myself. The guys were friendly, and I observed the employee do the oil change while I was talking with another of the employees. They were done in a reasonable amount of time. Fast forward to 24hrs later when I found a puddle of oil in my driveway. I popped the hood and saw oil all over the engine as if they had poured oil ON the engine and not IN the engine. I immediately checked the dipstick; it was off the scale. I took the vehicle to Nissan to document the possible damage and they found that the engine was overfilled by a quart of oil... a QUART! That's not counting the oil that was already pushed out by the engine and pooling in my driveway. Please keep in mind that a Nissan Versa is only a 1.6Liter 4-cylinder engine; it's petite, so even half a quart of oil would have been too much. The idiot, who I believe is still employed by this store, decided to dump oil without checking the dipstick as he did so. The fun continues after the botched oil change. This store is horrendous at dealing with its customers. First, these people don't call you back unless you contact corporate first. I would call and leave messages, send emails per their requests and after waiting over a week for a call back or an email reply, I would call corporate and only THEN would they return my calls. I was contacted by the manager of the store who asked why I went directly to Nissan instead of having them remedy the situation. Honey, if you manage to fuck up an oil change, there's no way in hell I'd let you touch my vehicle again. It'd be a different story if I had been going to these guys for years and this was just a random stupid move, but for them to fuck me like that on the first try... fuck 'em! He offered to refund me the price of the oil change to which I retorted "Oh... you're in for it now, I want more than just a refund of the "oil change" you're gonna pay for whatever damage this has caused and all expenses". Fine! Said the manager and he told me to email him all documentation once all was said and done. A month and a half went by before I got my money back for the expenses incurred for their fuckup after call after call and email after email. To put the icing on the cake, the manager is a coward that asked one of his employees to hand me my money instead of coming out and apologizing for wasting my time for over a month.
