| - Loblaws is considered the top end of the Loblaw family and this particular one is no different from the others I visited. It is huge in size and selection with the bigger price tag to match.
I personally find this store has good variety in produce but they may not have a lot of them. Last time I was here, they had 6 different leafy greens (kale, rainbow chard, swiss chard...) but there was only may 3 stalks of each. Sure, they were all good quality and fresh but honestly, I was hoping for more than 3 of each!
The fishmonger area was not large but each fillet seemed well intact and fresh. No fishy smells here! The butcher area was similar. It wasn't a large area but it had nice pieces in there. They also had duck breast and whole duck! That was a nice addition.
The baked good areas was insanely large. It probably was larger than both the fish and butcher place combined. It had over 20 types of bagels and a ridiculous amount of bread. I guess this area loves their wheat products.
As for the rest of the store, it's clean, organized, and well stocked. I always found what I wanted and in various brands. This particuar store has a lot of the black label items and I've never had a bad item from them! It's high quality for a higher price point than their normal PC brand but it's WORTH IT.
My only complaint about Loblaws is their pricing. It's certainly not the cheapest and though they do have better selection and quality overall, their other sister stores like Fortinos, Zehrs, and select Superstore are just as good but for lower prices. Unless Loblaws offer completely different items, I don't understand why they would charge a premium on the same product.
