  • Came here this afternoon for brunch with some girlfriends. The overall atmosphere is decent, the decor is cute, and the food was not good. I ordered the French onion soup as a starter and it was bad. The cheese part was good but past that, the rest of the soup was too salty and it had some very harsh herbs that made it taste bitter. The waffles were not my favorite, the were very very very hard. Every bite made me feel like I was biting into cardboard. The pieces were so hard to chew and the syrup slipped right off of them because there was nothing to absorb the liquid due to the firmness of the waffle. The service was average, its hard to judge service on a larger party especially because some people in our party were late so the server had to keep coming back and wasn't sure how long to wait to come back each time to see if we were ready yet. Not her fault, so can't really speak on how the regular service is. Probably wouldn't come back due to the fact that the food just wasn't impressive at all. Wouldn't definitely recommend you skip this place when southwest has sooo many other brunch places that are incredible.
