  • Whenever Christmas season rolls around, my mind instantly thinks of visiting the Magical Forest. I just associate Christmas and lights to this place and I honestly don't think that's a bad thing. This spectacular holiday attraction is located on the CSN West Charleston Campus - right off of Oakey. It's hard to miss if you drive down that road because of all the pretty lights! Adult tickets are roughly $11 while children are $9. If you're willing to splurge a bit, you can buy your children at passport at $18 which gives them unlimited access to the train ride and any other attractions they have on sight. it's pretty hard to put into words what they place can offer you. If you're a sucker for Christmas lights, festive music, and that overall Christmas spirit - THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU. I cannot stress how much I love visiting this place during the holiday season. They have a huge cabin filled with candies and sweet treats. They a decent-length walk through that you can "oh" and "ah" at all the lights. There's a train you can ride as well as a cafeteria that offers funnel cake, pizza, and hot cocoa. This place truly is magical and one of the more better Christmas/holiday places you can visit during this time of year. It is well worth your stop, especially if you've never been here before!
