  • I had a good move experience with SCM - they were on time, efficient, packed the truck really well, and did not damage any furniture or walls. Tim and Gary made all the difference - really great guys and totally professional. Had to rate three starts instead of 4 or 5 because of one important detail - I requested a 17' truck long in advance because I knew that much space would be required for my stuff; however, that morning when they went to U-Haul to get the truck I received a call that only a 14' was available. Not sure if this is SCM or U-Haul's fault, but from my perspective this was SCM's responsibility and because of the smaller truck used, I had to make about 5 trips back and forth with full car loads to move the rest of my belongings. Overall, I would definitely recommend SCM. Request Gary and Tim and you won't be disappointed. Very fair price for moving costs, including the truck rental which I was happy to not have to deal with. Recommendation for SCM - get a few trucks of your own!
